(Cont. news of MALEKSPIN): the implementation of NSL project was shelved, as approved by the shareholders of MSM in its AGM held on 27th December, 2010 due to non-availibility of gas from Titas Gas Tranmission & Distribution Company Ltd. However NSL had to continue to purchase certain contracted strategic lands due to geographical contiguity, location and security positions which would require additional funds for implementation of the project in due course of time. (মালেকস্পিনের খবরের ধারাবাহিকতা): তিতাস গ্যাস ট্রান্সমিশন অ্যান্ড ডিস্ট্রিবিউশন কোম্পানি লিমিটেড থেকে গ্যাস পাওয়া না যাওয়ায়, ২০১০ সালের ২৭শে ডিসেম্বর অনুষ্ঠিত এমএসএম-এর বার্ষিক সাধারণ সভায় শেয়ারহোল্ডারদের অনুমোদনের মাধ্যমে এনএসএল প্রকল্পের বাস্তবায়ন স্থগিত করা হয়। তবে, ভৌগোলিক সান্নিধ্য, অবস্থান এবং নিরাপত্তা পরিস্থিতির কারণে এনএসএল-কে চুক্তিবদ্ধ কিছু কৌশলগত জমি ক্রয় অব্যাহত রাখতে হয়েছিল, যার জন্য যথাসময়ে প্রকল্পটি বাস্তবায়নের জন্য অতিরিক্ত তহবিলের প্রয়োজন হবে। (সমাপ্ত)

The proposed Capital Restructuring of the subsidiary and liquidation of their loans and payment for additional land and ancilliary investments as the case may be, are expected to result in financial discipline and economic operations of the respective company. (Cont. news of MALEKSPIN): The funds so raised would be utilized for payment for purchase of additional strategic lands, ancilliary investments, other purposes and obligations of NSL. The Board of Directors of NSL has offered the propotionate additional shares of Tk. 238,303,200/- to MSM. The Board of Directors of MSM have approved the proposal of NSL. As a result the shareholding percentage will remain unchanged i.e 99.293%. (cont.2)

(মালেকস্পিনের খবরের ধারাবাহিকতা): এভাবে সংগৃহীত তহবিল অতিরিক্ত কৌশলগত জমি ক্রয়, আনুষঙ্গিক বিনিয়োগ, অন্যান্য উদ্দেশ্য এবং এনএসএল-এর দায়বদ্ধতা পূরণে ব্যবহার করা হবে। এনএসএল-এর পরিচালনা পর্ষদ এমএসএম-কে ২৩৮,৩০৩,২০০/- টাকার আনুপাতিক অতিরিক্ত শেয়ারের প্রস্তাব দিয়েছে। এমএসএম-এর পরিচালনা পর্ষদ এনএসএল-এর প্রস্তাবটি অনুমোদন করেছে। ফলে শেয়ারহোল্ডিংয়ের শতাংশ অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে, অর্থাৎ ৯৯.২৯৩%। (ধারাবাহিক ২)
