The Company has been placed in 'Z' category from existing 'B' category with effect from today i.e., March 30, 2026 as per provision 1(e) of BSEC Directive No. BSEC/CMRRCD/2009-193/77, dated May 20, 2024 regarding non-disbursement of the approved dividend within the stipulated time frame.

Referring to their earlier news disseminated by DSE on 14.01.2026, the company has further informed that Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission (BSEC) vide its letter dated 22.02.2026 has decided to reject the application of the company for issuance of 35% stock dividend for the year ended June 30, 2024 due to having inconsistencies in the audited financial statements.

The company has informed that the Board of Directors of the company has decided to invest additional 7,80,00,000/- (Seven crore eighty lac only) for BMRE for factory of Alhaj Textile Mills Limited.

Referring to their earlier news disseminated by DSE on 29.12.2025, the company has further informed that an application has been made to BSEC for approval of the stock dividend of 35% declared by Board of Directors of the company for the financial year ended 2023-2024. But no consent has been received from BSEC yet for stock dividend. Hence, January 15, 2026 will be the record date for cash dividend only. A new record date for the stock dividend will be announced after receiving consent from BSEC.
