(Q1): As per un-audited quarterly accounts for the 1st quarter ended on 31st March 2014 (Jan'14 to March'14), the Company has reported net profit after tax of Tk. 155.78 million with basic EPS of Tk. 1.28 as against Tk. 100.81 million and Tk. 0.83 respectively for the same period of the previous year. However, considering proposed bonus share @ 25% for the year 2013, restated basic EPS will be Tk. 1.02 as on 31.03.2014 and Tk. 0.66 as on 31.03.2013.

The Company has informed that the Board of Directors has decided to issue Rights shares @ 1R:2 (i.e. 1 Rights share for every 2 existing shares) of Tk. 10 each at an issue price of Tk. 30.00 each (including a premium of Tk. 20.00 per share) after considering bonus shares for the year ended on December 31, 2013 for expansion of existing business of the Company subject to approval of the shareholders in the EGM and Regulatory Authorities. Date of EGM: 21.06.2014, Time: 11:00 AM, Venue: Chittagong Boat Club Ltd. Ghat No. 11, East Patenga, Chittagong. Record Date for EGM: 27.05.2014. Another record date for entitlement of the proposed rights shares to be notified later on after obtaining approval from BSEC.

Ghat No.-11, East Patenga, Chittagong instead of Hotel Agrabad Ltd, Agrabad, Chittagong. Other information of the EGM and AGM will remain unchanged.
