BSEC News: As per BSEC Order No. BSEC/Surveillance/2018-912/91 dated November 24, 2019, the trading of the shares of Al-Haj Textile Mills Limited shall be placed in the Public Market from Compulsory Spot Market with effect from today i.e. November 25, 2019. Moreover, financial adjustment facilities in transactions of the shares of the Company will be applicable as per the existing rules.

As per consent of BSEC, trading of the shares shall be suspended from 07.11.2019 and 11.11.2019. Trading of the shares of the Company shall remain placed in the Compulsory Spot Market from 12.11.2019.

With reference to their earlier news disseminated by DSE on 22.09.2019 regarding Extension of Lay off period of the Factory, the Company has further informed that due to non-improvement of market situation of yarn sale, management has taken decision for closure of the mill and retrenched the staff and workers of the mill with effect from October 08, 2019 as per Bangladesh Labour Law section 16(7) & 20(2) (KA). They also informed that the mill will re-open subject to improvement of the market situation.

With reference to their earlier news disseminated by DSE on 05.09.2019 regarding Extension of Lay off period of the Factory, the Company has further informed that with no improvement in the sale of manufacturing yarn, the authorities have further extended their announced lay off period for another 15 days, from September 23 to October 07, 2019.

BSEC News: As per BSEC Order No. BSEC/Surveillance/2018-912/79 dated September 12, 2019, the trading of the shares of Al-Haj Textile Mills Limited shall be placed in the Compulsory Spot Market from Public Market with effect from today i.e. September 15, 2019. Moreover, there shall be no financial adjustment facilities in transactions of shares of the Company.

With reference to earlier news disseminated by DSE on 24.07.2019, 08.08.2019 and 22.08.2019 regarding Lay off period of the Factory, the Company has further informed that with no improvement in the sale of manufacturing yarn, the authorities have again extended their announced lay off period for another 15 days, from September 08 to September 22, 2019.

With reference to their earlier news disseminated by DSE on 24.07.2019 and 08.08.2019 regarding Lay off period of the Factory, the Company has further informed that with no improvement in the sale of manufacturing yarn, the authorities have again extended their announced lay off period for another 15 days, from August 24 to September 07, 2019.
