(continuation news of LHBL): The Company is a law abiding corporate citizen and conducts its business in compliance with applicable laws of the country and it has not violated any law by operating its business. The Company will provide updated to the regulatory authorities and shareholders, as and when the Hon'ble High Court directs, in accordance with applicable laws. (end)

(continuation news of LHBL): the Company does not have required approvals from authorities as a ground for such a direction. Immediately after receipt of the letter, the Company issued notice demanding justice challenging the legality of the same followed by taking appropriate legal steps. The matter is now pending before the High Court thus sub justice. The Company has advised by their learned counsel not to make any comment on sub juice matter. (cont. 2)

(Q2 Un-audited): Consolidated EPS was Tk. 0.96 for April-June 2021 as against Tk. 0.28 for April-June 2020; Consolidated EPS was Tk. 1.85 for January-June 2021 as against Tk. 0.73 for January-June 2020. Consolidated NOCFPS was Tk. 2.82 for January-June 2021 as against Tk. 1.69 for January-June 2020. Consolidated NAV per share was Tk. 15.80 as on June 30, 2021 and Tk. 14.89 as on December 31, 2020.

As per Regulation 16(1) of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (Listing) Regulations, 2015, the Company has informed that a meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on July 14, 2021 at 3:15 PM to consider, among others, un-audited financial statements of the Company for the Second Quarter (Q2) period ended on June 30, 2021.

(Continuation news of LHBL): the full disputed amount paid to JGTDS by the Company in compliance with the above stated order of the Appellate Division. Accordingly, the above disputed payment to JGTDS under the Order of the Appellate Division would be treated as advance/deposit paid pending disposal of the Arbitration, as it will be recoverable from JGTDS if LHBL receives a favorable award from the Arbitration Tribunal." (Continuation news of LHBL): the Arbitration Tribunal, and the Hon'ble Court's order will not have any impact on the merits of the dispute that will be adjudicated by the Arbitration Tribunal. LHBL disputes the validity of JGTDS claim and looks forward to having a favorable Award from the Arbitration Tribunal. Please also note that, if the Arbitration Tribunal passes an Award in favour of the Company, the Company will be entitled to recover, in terms of the Award, (cont. 5)

(Continuation news of LHBL): As stated in our PSI issued yesterday, the Order of the Appellate Division has been passed by the Hon'ble Appellate Division in the context of Arbitration Application No. 5 of 2021 filed by the Company before the High Court Division for interim protection so that the gas supply is not stopped during pendency of the Arbitration proceeding. The dispute between the parties under the GSA will be determined by. (cont. 4)

(Continuation news of LHBL): The court further ordered to pay @ BERC rate going forward, which is approximately Tk. 4,20,00,000 (Taka four crore twenty lacs) per month. As law abiding corporate citizen of the country, LHBL shall respect the Order of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and shall make payments of the disputed amounts to JGTDS accordingly.
